TOOTHED DRIVEN PULLEY (ONE) - R + R
Removing
Position the vehicle on a lift.
Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal.

PROCEED AS FOLLOWS FOR THE INTAKE SIDE TOOTHED DRIVEN PULLEY
1. Undo the inlet side driven timing pulley bolt (1a) using the tool (1b) for counter-torque.

2. Remove the inlet side timing driven pulley.
PROCEED AS FOLLOWS FOR THE EXHAUST SIDE TOOTHED DRIVEN PULLEY
1. Undo the exhaust side driven timing pulley bolt (1a) using the tool (1b) for counter-torque.

2. Remove the exhaust side timing driven pulley.
Refitting
PROCEED AS FOLLOWS FOR THE EXHAUST SIDE TOOTHED DRIVEN PULLEY
Refit the exhaust side toothed driven pulley in its seat and secure with the bolt without tightening.
PROCEED AS FOLLOWS FOR THE INTAKE SIDE TOOTHED DRIVEN PULLEY
Refit the inlet side toothed driven pulley in its seat and secure with the bolts without tightening them.
Proceed with the refitting
Op. 1032B10 TOOTHED TIMING BELT - R + R FOR TIMING ADJUSTMENT OR REPLACEMENT.
Proceed with the refitting
Op. 1016A40 IGNITION COIL COVER ON CYLINDER HEAD- R+R.
Proceed with the refitting

Proceed with the refitting

Connect the negative battery terminal (-).

2. Remove the exhaust side toothed driven pulley.
Refitting
PROCEED AS FOLLOWS FOR THE EXHAUST SIDE TOOTHED DRIVEN PULLEY.
Refit the exhaust side toothed driven pulley in its seat and secure with the bolt without tightening.
PROCEED AS FOLLOWS FOR THE INTAKE SIDE TOOTHED DRIVEN PULLEY.
Refit the inlet side toothed driven pulley in its seat and secure with the bolts without tightening them.
Proceed with the refitting
Op. 1032B10 TOOTHED TIMING BELT - R + R FOR TIMING ADJUSTMENT OR REPLACEMENT.
Proceed with the refitting
Op. 1016A20 SINGLE CAM COVER - R + R AND REPLACE GASKET.
