(Left side).

Proceed with removal

Op. 3340A13 ABS CENTRAL MOUNT - R R

Release the rigid pipe from the hydraulic control unit to the rear brake pipe connector from the fastenings on the engine bulkhead.

1. Remove the brake pipe protection.

Op. 4450B10 TYRE INFLATION VALVE CAP - REPLACE

2. Undo the connector (2a) and remove the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the connector on the pipes to the rear brakes (2b), releasing it from its attachments.

Op. 7055B64 LH OR RH REFLECTOR(ONE) ON REAR BUMPERS - R R

Refitting

Refit in its seating the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the connector on the pipes to the rear brakes, and secure it to the underbody.

Tighten the connector on the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the connector on the pipes to the rear brakes, connector side, to the recommended torque.

Refit the brake pipe protector in its seating.

Secure the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the rear brake pipes connector to the attachments on the engine compartment bulkhead.

Proceed with refitting

Proceed with the refitting

Op. 4450B10 TYRE INFLATION VALVE CAP - REPLACE

(Left side).

Proceed with refitting

Op. 3340A12 ABS HYDRAULIC AND ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT.

Proceed with refitting

Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..

Proceed with refitting

Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.

Bleed the air from the hydraulic braking system

Op. 3330A14 FRONT OR REAR HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM - BLEED.

Remove the car from the ramps.

Refit in its seating the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the connector on the pipes to the rear brakes, and secure it to the underbody.

Refit the brake pipe protector in its seating.

Secure the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the rear brake pipes connector to the attachments on the engine compartment bulkhead.

Proceed with refitting

Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.

Top up the brake/clutch fluid level

Op. 0010T64 BRAKE AND OR CLUTCH FLUID CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP AS NECESSARY.

Bleed the air from the hydraulic braking system

Op. 0010T65 HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM BLEED AIR.

Proceed with refitting

Op. 4450B02 LEFT FRONT WHEEL R R.

Remove the car from the ramps.

Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp

Proceed with removal

When removing the battery, make sure also to disconnect the starter motor supply lead, shown in the figure, from the maxi fuse box.

Secure the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the rear brake pipes connector to the attachments on the engine compartment bulkhead.
