Op. 1032B10 TOOTHED TIMING BELT - R + R FOR TIMING ADJUSTMENT OR REPLACEMENT

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the fixed timing tensioner (1b).

2. Unscrew bolt (2a) and remove the timing tensioner mount (2b) complete with mobile belt tensioner (2c).

1. Working at the bench, unscrew bolt (1a) and separate the mobile belt tensioner (1b) from the timing tensioner mount.

Refitting

- Fit the timing belt mobile tensioner to the timing belt mobile tensioner mount and secure by screwing in the bolt without tightening.

1. Place the timing belt tensioner support (1a) complete with moving timing tensioner (1b) in its housing and fasten it by tightening the bolts (1c) to the recommended torque.

2. Position the fixed timing tensioner (2a) in its housing and secure it tightening the bolt (2b) to the recommended torque.

To perform this operation, remove/refit the power unit

Op. 1004B10 POWER UNIT WITH MANUAL GEARBOX - R.R

and then work at the bench, customising the engine service procedures for this operation.
