Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Lower the lift.

1. Undo the bolt fixing the reaction rod to the bodyshell.

1. Remove the safety seal applied to the electrical connector, then disconnect the brakesystem control unit electrical connector (NFR).

2. Undo the nuts securing the brake system control unit (NFR) to the bracket.

- Position the hydraulic engine support under the oil sump in order to work safely.

1. Undo the nuts fixing the flexible block to the mount.

2. Undo the pin connecting the rigid support to the flexible mounting.

- Gently lower the hydraulic lift until the gearbox bell housing is resting on the crossmember.

3. Remove the gearbox side flexible mounting.

Refitting

1. Fit the flexible block in the itshousing and tighten the nuts.

- Tighten the threaded pin joined to the block.

2. Tighten the pin connecting the rigid support to the flexible mounting to torque.

3. Tighten the nuts securing the flexible block to the mount to torque.

- Remove the hydraulic safety device positioned under the oil sump.

- Tighten the nuts securing the brake system control unit (NFR) to the bracket.

- Connect the electrical connection for the brake system electronic control unit (NFR).

- Tighten the reaction rod bolt to torque.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

2.0 TB, 2.4 20V

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Open the boot, remove the cover on the left hand side and disconnect the negative battery lead.

- Lower the lift.

- Position a hydraulic lift under the gearbox bellhousing.

1. Undo the pin fixing the engine support to the flexible mounting.

2. Undo the nuts fixing the flexible mounting.

3. Remove the flexible mounting.

Refitting

- Position the flexible mounting on the support.

- Tighten the nuts fixing the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

- Tighten the nut fixing the rigid support pin to the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

- Remove the hydraulic lift positioned under the gearbox bellhousing.

- Raise the lift.

- Connect the negative battery lead.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

2.4 JTD 10V

Removing

1. Release the fuse box illustrated from the junction unit.

- Place a hydraulic device for supporting the power unit under the gearbox.

1. Undo the pin fixing the engine support to the flexible mounting.

2. Undo the nuts fixing the flexible mounting.

3. Remove the flexible mounting.

Refitting

- Fit the flexible mounting in the special housing.

- Tighten the nuts fixing the flexible mounting to torque.

- Tighten the pin fixing the engine support to the flexible mounting to torque.

- Remove the hydraulic device for supporting the power unit from underneath the gearbox.

- Position it in the special housing in the engine compartment junction unit.
