Removing

1. Disconnect the air pipe from the lower resonator (1a) and from the turbocharger (1b).

- Lower the vehicle.

1. Undo the fixing bolt (1a), disconnect the pipe from the air flow meter (1b) and then remove the air inlet pipe (1c).

Refitting

- Clean the air flow meter thoroughly to avoid damaging the sensitive element.

- Fit the air inlet pipe and connect it to the air flow meter.

- Tighten the bolt fixing the mounting bracket.

- Raise the vehicle.

- Connect the turbocharger and the lower resonator air inlet pipe.

Removing

1. Disconnect the oil vapour recovery pipe (1a), the supercharging air by-pass valve pipe (1b) and the fuel vapour recirculation pipe (1c) from the hose.

2. Disconnect the pipe from the air flow meter and from the turbocharger air intake hose, then remove it.

Refitting

- Fit the air inlet pipe and connect it to the air flow meter and to the turbocharger air intake hose.

- Connect the oil vapour recovery pipe, the supercharging air by-pass valve pipe and the fuel vapour recirculation pipe.

2.4 JTD 10V

Removing

1. Disconnect the oil vapour recovery pipe from the connector on the hose.

2. Disconnect the pipe (2a) from the air flow meter (2b) and from the turbocharger air intake hose (2c), then remove it.

Refitting

- Fit the air inlet pipe and connect it to the air flow meter and to the turbocharger air intake hose.

- Connect the engine oil vapour recovery pipe to the air inlet pipe.
