About Lancia
Lancia was founded in Turin in 1906 by Vincenzo Lancia. It became known for engineering firsts such as the unitary-bodied Lambda of 1922, and for rally wins with the Stratos, the 037 and the Delta Integrale. Lancia has been part of Fiat since 1969, and its cars share platforms and engines with Fiat and Alfa Romeo models.
The Thesis executive saloon was built from 2002 to 2009 with petrol engines from the 2.0 turbo to the 3.2 V6, and with the 2.4 JTD diesel. The Ypsilon supermini, built from 2003 to 2011, shares its mechanical parts with the Fiat Punto and uses 1.2 and 1.4 petrol engines and the 1.3 JTD diesel.
