Engine oil drain plug - replace

Removing

Position the vehicle on a lift.

Raise the lift.

1. Undo the plug and drain the engine oil into a suitable container.

Used engine oil contains substances harmful to the environment. It is absolutely forbidden to dispose of waste oil in the environment. Deposit these substances in appropriate collection containers.

Removing

Place the car on the ramp.

1. Undo the engine oil drain plug and drain the oil.

Collect the engine oil in a suitable container.

Removing

Position the car on the ramp.

Proceed with removal - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r

1. Undo the engine oil drain plug and drain the oil into a suitable container.

Do not disperse the oil into the environment, as indiscriminate dispersal of this product causes pollution.

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

Position a suitable container for collecting the oil under the oil sump.

1. Undo the drain plug and collect the oil in the container.

Used engine oil contains substances harmful to the environment. Discard these substances in containers designed for their disposal.

Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Proceed with the removal - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r.

1. Undo the engine oil drain plug and drain the oil.

Recover the engine oil in a suitable container.

Refitting

Tighten the engine oil plug to the recommended torque.

Lower the lift.

- 0010T11 engine oil check level and top up

- 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r

Remove the car from the lift.

Refitting

Fit a new engine oil drain plug complete with seal and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- 0010T10 change engine oil

Remove the car from the ramps.

Refitting

Tighten the new engine oil drain plug to the recommended torque.

Refill the engine oil lubrication system - 0010T11 engine oil check level and top up.

Proceed with refitting - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r

Remove the car from the ramps.

Refitting

Fit the drain plug in the threaded seat in the sump and tighten it to torque.

Replace the oil plug copper gasket.

- 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

Refitting

Fit a new engine oil drain plug complete with seal and tighten it to the recommended torque.

Proceed with the refitting - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r.

Refill the engine oil lubrication system - 0010T12 engine oil and filter replace.

Remove the car from the ramp.
