GEARBOX SIDE MOUNT FLEXIBLE BLOCK - REPLACE
Removing
Position the vehicle on a lift.

Position a hydraulic jack beneath the engine.
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and (1b), then remove the gearbox side support flexible mounting (1c).
Refitting
1. Place the gearbox side support flexible mounting (1a) in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Tighten the bolt securing the power unit gearbox side rigid support to the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

Remove the vehicle from the lift.
Removing
Position the vehicle on a lift.
Proceed with the removal
Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R.
1. Position a hydraulic jack beneath the gearbox.
2. Unscrew the bolt securing the power unit rigid mount to the flexible block.
Lower the hydraulic jack, as necessary.
3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the power unit gearbox side support flexible mounting (3b).
Refitting
1. Place the power unit gearbox side support flexible mounting (1a) in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

Using the hydraulic jack, place the power unit gearbox side rigid support in contact with the flexible mounting.
2. Tighten the bolt securing the power unit gearbox side rigid support to the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

Position a hydraulic jack beneath the gearbox.
1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the earth lead (1b) from the power unit gearbox side rigid support.

2. Unscrew the bolt securing the power unit rigid mount to the flexible block.
3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the power unit gearbox side rigid support (3b).
4. Undo the bolts (4a) and remove the power unit gearbox side support flexible mounting (4b).
Refitting
1. Place the power unit gearbox side support flexible mounting (1a) in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Place the power unit gearbox side rigid support (2a) in its housing and secure it to the gearbox tightening the bolts (2b) to the recommended torque.

3. Tighten the bolt securing the power unit gearbox side rigid support to the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

4. Connect the earth lead (4a) to the power unit gearbox side rigid support and tighten the nut (4b).
Remove the hydraulic jack from beneath the gearbox
Proceed with the refitting
Op. 1048B14 AIR DELIVERY PIPE BETWEEN TURBO CHARGER AND HEAT EXCHANGER - REPLACE.
Proceed with the refitting
