CHECK DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR OPERATION

| 1 | Check whether error P2455 - Differential pressure sensor - is present using the diagnostic equipment | Replace differential pressure sensor Op. 1080B82 PARTICULATE FILTER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE (D.P.F.) SENSOR - R R |
| 2 | Press the START/STOP button and turn off the engine. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the FAP differential pressure sensor. Press the START/STOP button. Check that the voltage across pin 1 and 2 of the sensor See K187 FAP DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR is greater than 4.8 V. Move on to Step 4 | Move on to Step 3 |
| 3 | If faults are found, restore the wiring between the engine control unit and the downstream temperature sensor See E5070 PARTICLE FILTER SYSTEM Replace the wiring if necessary The test can be considered over | Replace the engine management control unit |
| 4 | On the diagnostic tester, check whether the differential pressure sensor voltage parameter is between 4.8 and 5.2 V | Move on to Step 3 |
| 5 | Connect a shunt cable with a fuse between sensor Pin 3 See K187 FAP DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR and the earth. On the diagnostic tester, check whether the differential pressure sensor voltage parameter is less than 0.3 V | Move on to Step 3 |
