WIND NOISE FROM THE SUN ROOF

There is noise from the area of the sun roof (front/centre/rear) whilst driving;

STEPOPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUTTEST RESULTS
1SEAL CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check (with the roof closed):

  • that there is no damage to the seal
  • that the seal is fitted correctly
  • that the seal is suitably compressed
Move on to StepThe seal is not suitably compressedPosition the seal, if necessary, replace it if it is distorted
2WEATHERSTRIP CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check that the weatherstrip is correctly positionedMove on to StepThe seal is unstuck and not correctly positionedReplace the seal
