ALARM AND DOOR LOCK DO NOT COME ON

The alarm system comes on automatically the moment the doors are locked using the remote control.

The remote control receiver is incorporated in the Steering Wheel Node and is fitted with an aerial for receiving the signal.

The networks are on stand-by 30 mins after the engine is switched off. This makes it impossible to carry out the fault diagnosis. If a diagnostic session has to be opened, start up the engine to reawaken the networks.

  • Carry out the remote control programming procedure

CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT:Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check, in the Body Computer Node ambient, that there are no errors and for the following parameter:

  • the number of keys enabled
Move on to Step1. Battery charge too low.1. Replace the battery.
2. One remote control not working2. Replace the remote control and carry out the programming of all the keys and the remote controsl again.
3. The remote controls are not workingMove on to Step

  • VAN CAR line error
  • Transmission of code for remote control at HF
  • VAN CAR: steering column switch unit control unit (NVO) - no communication
  • VAN CAR: steering column switch unit control unit (NVO) - data line
  • VAN CAR: steering column switch unit control unit (NVO) - negative data line
  • VAN CAR: stand-by mode.
  • VAN CAR: BSI
  • VAN CAR: power supply
  • BSI control lunit (NBC)
