INJECTOR HIGH PRESSURE, FUEL CIRCUIT LEAKAGE TEST

2.0 16V JTD, 2.2 16V JTD

Disconnect the electrical connections (6) from the injectors (7).

Disconnect the fuel recirculation pipes from all the injectors.

Constrict the fuel return pipe (8) to the tank (3) so that fuel does not come out during the test.

Turn the ignition key to the AVV starting position for 5 seconds and check that jets of fuel do not come out of the top of the injectors.

It is normal to see fuel at the tops of the injectors.
