2.0 16V JTD, 2.2 16V JTD

Disconnect the electrical connections (6) from the injectors (7).

Disconnect the fuel recirculation pipes from all the injectors.

Constrict the fuel return pipe (8) to the tank (3) so that fuel does not come out during the test.

Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment.

Display the "measured diesel pressure" and "engine rpm" parameters on the Control Unit Test parameter screen.

Turn the ignition key to the AVV position for 5 seconds and check that the fuel pressure is above 300 bar with the engine speed above 200 rpm and check that fuel does not come out of the top of the injectors.
