Removing

Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.

Position a suitable container for collecting the engine oil.

1. Unscrew the engine oil drain plug and remove.

The engine oil used contains substances that are harmful to the environment. These substances should be placed in specially designed containers.

2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and remove the crankcase sump (2b).

Refitting

Replace the crankcase sump gasket.

Replace the oil drain plug seal.

1. Refit the crankcase sump, tighten the bolt (1a), tighten the bolt (1b) and tighten the bolt (1c) to the recommended torque;

Tighten the remaining bolts, in the order illustrated, to the recommended torque.

Resume the tightening of all the bolts, following the order illustrated, to the recommended torque.

1. Refit the oil drain plug and tighten to the recommended torque

Op. 0010T11 ENGINE OIL - CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP, IF NECESSARY

Remove the vehicle from the lift.
