Removing

Before removing and refitting the switch for disabling the passgener Air Bag module the following preliminary operations must be carried out: (1) turn the ignition key to the OFF position and extract it; (2) wait for 2 minutes before continuing; (3) remove the battery housing cover, disconnect the negative battery terminal and insulate the leads; (4) wait for 5 minutes before continuing.

Op. 7040A44 SEAT INTERIOR GUARD - R R

1. Act on the clips (1a) and remove the passenger Air Bag disabling switch (1b).

Refitting

- Place the passenger Air Bag disabling switch in position and check that it is properly secured.

Op. 7040A44 SEAT INTERIOR GUARD - R R

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

- Check the operation of the system using the Examiner or other diagnostic equipment.
