Removing

Position the vehicle on a lift.

Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve on one of the front brake calipers.

Connect the recovery device (pipe and reservoir) to the brake caliper bleed valve.

Operate the brake pedal until the brake/clutch reservoir is drained.

1. Lift up the fastening clip (1a) and disconnect the oil supply pipe (1b).

1. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and remove the clutch hydraulic actuator operating cylinder (2b).

Refitting

Fit the hydraulic clutch actuator cylinder and tighten the retaining bolts to the specified torque

Connect the oil supply pipe rapid connector on the hydraulic actuator.

Removing

Position the vehicle on a lift.

Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve on one of the front brake calipers.

Connect the recovery device (pipe and reservoir) to the brake caliper bleed valve.

Operate the brake pedal until the brake/clutch reservoir is drained.

1. Remove the protective cover.

2. Disconnect the oil supply pipe rapid connector on the hydraulic actuator.

3. Press and rotate the clutch actuator cylinder in an anti-clockwise direction and remove it.

Refitting

Fit the hydraulic actuator pressing it towards the housing and, at the same time, rotate it in a clockwise direction.

Connect the supply pipe rapid connector to the hydraulic actuator.

Place the protective cover in position and fit it.
