Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Unscrew the connector.

2. Disconnect the pipe from the intermediate connector.

1. Unscrew the connector to the intermediate hose.

2. Recover the clip.

3. Disconnect the pipe from the flexible section.

2.2 16V JTD

All versions

1. Position a hydraulic lift beneath the fuel tank.

- Loosen the fuel tank mount front retaining bolts.

2. Unscrew the rear fuel tank mount front retaining bolts.

3. Adjust the hydraulic lift and lower the fuel tank at the rear.

4. Release the handbrake cable (4a) from fastenings (4b).

- Release the pipe from the body connection bands and remove.

2.2 16V JTD

Refitting

- Fit the pipe and secure to the body with the appropriate bands.

- Connect the pipe to the intermediate connector and tighten the connector to the specified torque.

- Fit the clip.

- Tighten the connector on the intermediate hose to the specified torque.

- Adjust the hydraulic lift to position the fuel tank.

- Tighten the rear radiator bolts.

- Tighten the front retaining bolts.

- Remove the hydraulic lift.

- Secure the handbrake cable to the appropriate fastenings.

Op. 0010T65 HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM BLEED AIR

Op. 0010T66 MANUAL GEARBOX OIL CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

- Test the operation of the braking system.
