Cam angle sensor r + r
Removing
Open the bonnet.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector for the sensor.

2. Undo the fixing bolt (2a) and remove the sensor (2b).
Refitting
Fit the sensor and tighten the fixing bolt.
Connect the electrical connector for the sending unit.

Connect the negative battery terminal.

Close the bonnet.
Removing
If the cam angle sensor is replaced, run the following self-learning procedure.
Start up the engine without pressing the accelerator pedal with an engine temperature greater than or equal to 20 °C and idle the engine for 10 seconds
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
1. Disconnect electrical connection (1a), unscrew the bolts and remove cam angle sensor (1b).

Refitting
- Refit the cam angle sensor in its seat, secure with the bolt and connect the electrical connection.
- Connect the negative battery terminal.
