NUMBER PLATE LIGHT NOT WORKING

the no. plate lights are turned on by the Body Computer Node when the signal is received that the Side Lights have been turned on through the steering column switch unit or the Parking Lights on button.

	Connect the Examiner to the diagnostic socket Check: that there are no faults in the Body Computer the operation of the lights in active diagnosis. 2	CHECK ON INDIVIDUAL LIGHTS	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the condition of the individual bulbs and complete bulb holder assembly	Continue to Step 3	Bulb damaged	Replace the bulbs
		Continue to Step 3	Bulb damaged	Repair or replace the bulb holder
3	SIDE/NO. PLATE LIGHTS ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check: connections between Body Computer and steering column switch unit; connections between ignition switch, dashboard control unit and Body Computer; connections between Body Computer and bulbs bulb earth: wiring diagram See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO.
