1.2 8v

Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Proceed with removal - 4450B08 right rear wheel r r.

Proceed with removal - 7055B45 right hand rear supplementary wheel arch - r+r.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe to the bodyshell.

2. Loosen the band (2a) and disconnect the fuel filler pipe (2b) from the tank.

3. Loosen the band (3a) and disconnect the fuel return pipe (3b).

4. Remove the sleeve joining the fuel filler pipe to the tank.

1.2 16v

Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Proceed with removal - 4450B08 right rear wheel r r.

Proceed with removal - 7055B45 right hand rear supplementary wheel arch - r+r.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe to the bodyshell.

2. Loosen the band (2a) and disconnect the fuel filler pipe (2b) from the tank.

3. Loosen the band (3a) and disconnect the fuel return pipe (3b).

4. Remove the sleeve joining the fuel filler pipe to the tank.

1.4 16v

Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Proceed with removal - 4450B08 right rear wheel r r.

Proceed with removal - 7055B45 right hand rear supplementary wheel arch - r+r.

1. Undo the bolt securing the fuel filler pipe to the body.

2. Loosen the band (2a) and disconnect the fuel filler pipe (2b) from the tank.

3. Loosen the band (3a) and disconnect return pipe (3b).

4. Remove the sleeve joining the fuel filler pipe to the tank.

1.3 JTD

Removing

Place the car on a lift.

1. Undo the bolt fixing the fuel filler mounting bracket.

2. Remove the retaining band (2a) and disconnect the fuel filler pipe to the tank (2b).

3. Remove the retaining band (3a) and disconnect the drain pipe (3b).

4. Remove the sleeve joining the fuel filler pipe to the tank.

1.2 8v

Refitting

Refit the hose joining the fuel filler pipe to the tank in its housing.

Connect the reflux pipe and secure it using the retaining band.

Connect thefuel filler pipe to the tank and secure it using the band.

Tighten the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe to the bodyshell.

Proceed with refitting - 7055B45 right hand rear supplementary wheel arch - r+r.

Proceed with refitting - 4450B08 right rear wheel r r.

Remove the car from the ramps.

1.2 16v

Refitting

Refit the hose joining the fuel filler pipe to the tank in its housing.

Connect the return pipe and secure it using the retaining band.

Connect the fuel filler pipe to the tank and secure it using the band.

Tighten the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe to the bodyshell.

Proceed with refitting - 7055B45 right hand rear supplementary wheel arch - r+r.

Proceed with refitting - 4450B08 right rear wheel r r.

Remove the car from the ramps.

1.4 16v

Refitting

Refit the hose joining the fuel filler pipe to the tank in its housing.

Connect the return pipe and secure it using the retaining band.

Connect the fuel filler pipe to the tank and secure it using the band.

Tighten the bolt securing the fuel filler pipe to the bodyshell.

Proceed with refitting - 7055B45 right hand rear supplementary wheel arch - r+r.

Proceed with refitting - 4450B08 right rear wheel r r.

Remove the car from the ramps.

1.3 JTD

Refitting

Fit the sleeve joining the fuel filler pipe to the tank.

Connect the reflux pipe and secure it using the retaining band.

Conect the pipe from the fuel filler pipe to the tank and secure it using the band.

Tighten the bolt fixing the fuel filler pipe mounting bracket.

Remove the vehicle from the lift.
