Lubrication system - check delivery pressure

Let the engine warm up (engine oil temperature 100°C).

Proceed with removal Refer to op. 1084A42 engine oil pressure warning light switch - r + r.

1. Operate the fuel pump using the tester's 'Active Diagnosis' setting and check the pressure does not exceed 4 bars.

2. Connect a pressure gauge to the adaptor.

Start the engine only for the time required to check that the engine oil pressure is within the specified values.

Remove the pressure gauge.

Remove the adaptor.

Proceed with refitting Refer to op. 1084A42 engine oil pressure warning light switch - r + r.
