Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

See in Op. 7055B54 PROTECTION/GUARD under engine - R.R.

1. Undo the nuts fixing the catalytic converter to the centre section of the exhaust pipe.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) fixing the section centre to the rigid rear section (2b).

3. Release the pins (3a) from the pipe rubber mountings (3b).

4. Remove the centre section of the exhaust pipe, saving the gaskets underneath.

Refitting

- Position the seal in the special housing in the catalyzer.

- Secure the pins to the rubber mountings.

- Tighten the nuts fixing the catalytic converter to the centre section of the exhaust pipe.

- Tighten the bolts fixing the section centre to the rigid rear section.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
