Removing

Refitting

- Press fit the engine coolant level sensor.

- Connect the electrical connection for the engine coolant level sensor.

3.0 V6, 3.2 V6

Removing

- Open the boot, remove the cover on the left hand side and disconnect the negative battery lead.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine coolant level sensor.

2. Extract the sensor using pliers and working in a vertical direction.

Refitting

- Position the sensor, making sure that the O-ring engages in the housing in the tank with a click.

- Connect the electrical connection for the engine coolant level sensor.

- Connect the negative battery lead, then close the boot.

2.4 JTD 20V

Removing

See in Op. 7040D50 ENGINE COMPARTMENT UPPER SOUND INSULATION SHIELD - R.R.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection (1a) and remove the engine coolant level sensor (1b).

Refitting

- Fit the coolant level sensor in the housing on the coolant reservoir.

- Connect the electrical connection for the engine coolant level sensor

- Connect the negative battery terminal.
