Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R

- Position a suitable container under the vehicle.

- Disconnect the lower radiator hose and drain the engine cooling system.

Op. 5010B18 CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT AIR INTAKE - R.R.

1. Undo the retaining nuts.

2. Place the power assisted steering fluid reservoir to the side.

3. Remove the screen washer reservoir filler mounting bracket.

1. Use the appropriate tool to open the retaining band and release it.

2. Disconnect the pipe between the expansion tank and the radiator, radiator side.

1. Undo the retaining bolts.

2. Place the relay casing to the side.

1. Use the appropriate tool to open the retaining band and release it.

2. Disconnect the pipe between the thermostat and the radiator, radiator side.

3. Remove the fastening bands (3a) and (3b).

4. Remove the hose from the throttle casing to the intercooler.

1. Rotate the upper fastening devices.

- Tilt the engine cooling radiator.

2. Remove the engine cooling radiator.

Refitting

- Position the engine cooling radiator.

- Rotate the upper fastening devices.

- Position the hose from the throttle casing to the intercooler and fasten it using the special bands.

- Connect the pipe between the thermostat and the radiator, radiator side.

- Use the appropriate tool to open the retaining band and fit it.

- Position the relay casing and tighten the fixing bolts.

- Connect the pipe between the expansion tank and the radiator, radiator side.

- Use the appropriate tool to open the retaining band and fit it.

- Connect the lower hose to the radiator.

- Pressurize the engine cooling system.

Op. 0010T21 COOLANT CHECK DENSITY AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

Removing

Op. 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 5010B18 CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT AIR INTAKE - R.R.

Op. 1048A39 SLEEVE FROM AIR CLEANER TO RIGID PIPE - R R

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and move the oil filler mounting bracket (1b) aside.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R

- Position a suitable container for collecting the coolant.

1. Adjust the spring (1a) and remove the coolant hose from the radiator (1b).

2. Using pliers, adjust the retaining band (2a) and release the heat exchanger coolant hose for cooling the engine oil (2b) from the radiator.

- Lower the vehicle.

1. Use the tool and remove the retaining band (1a) and release the coolant hose from the radiator (1b).

1. Adjust the plastic retainers (1a), tilt the radiator (1b) and remove it.

Refitting

- Fit the radiator in position and renew the fastenings using plastic clips.

- Fit the hose and renew the fastening using the tool.

- Raise the vehicle.

- Fit the hoses and renew the fastenings using the tool.

- Place the engine oil filler in position and tighten the fixing bolts.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Place a suitable container underneath the vehicle.

- Disconnect the lower radiator hose and drain the engine coolant.

1. Undo the bolt fixing the heat exchanger and move it away from the work area.

1. Undo the retaining nuts.

2. Place the power assisted steering fluid reservoir at the side.

3. Remove the screen washer reservoir filler mounting bracket.

1. Use the appropriate tool to open the band and release it.

2. Disconnect the pipe from the expansion tank to the radiator, radiator side.

1. Undo the retaining bolts.

2. Place the relay box at the side.

1. Use the appropriate tool to open the band and release it.

2. Disconnect the pipe from the thermostat to the radiator, radiator side.

3. Remove the fastening bands (3a) and (3b).

4. Remove the hose from the throttle casing to the intercooler.

1. Rotate the upper fastening devices.

- Tilt the engine cooling radiator.

2. Remove the engine cooling radiator.

Refitting

- Position the engine cooling radiator.

- Rotate the upper fastening devices.

- Position the hose from the throttle casing to the intercooler and fasten it using the special retaining bands.

- Connect the pipe from the thermostat to the radiator, radiator side.

- Use the appropriate tool to open the band and fit it.

- Position the relay box and tighten the fixing bolts.

- Connect the pipe from the expansion tank to the radiator, radiator side.

- Use the appropriate tool to open the band and fit it.

- Tighten the bolt fixing the heat exchanger.

- Connect the lower hose to the radiator.

- Pressurize the engine cooling system.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
