LINK/CABLE CONNECTING HANDBRAKE LEVER TO CABLE - R+R

Operation 3380A38 · HANDBRAKE CONTROL AND LINKAGE

Removing

- Position the vehicle on the lift.

- Raise the vehicle.

- Mark adjustment nut position.

1. Unscew adjustment nut (1a) and prise up the wire leading from the handbrake (1b).

- Lower the vehicle.

Op. 3380A44 HANDBRAKE/LINKAGE PROTECTION - R+R

1. Prise the connection link from the handbrake.

- Raise the vehicle.

1. Remove the link connecting the handbrake lever and cable.

Refitting

- Fit the link connecting the handbrake lever and cable.

- Lower the vehicle.

- Fit the connection link to the handbrake.

Op. 3380A44 HANDBRAKE/LINKAGE PROTECTION - R+R

- Fit the wire leading from the handbrake and tighten the adjustment bolt.

Op. 3380A04 HANDBRAKE - CHECK TRAVEL

- Lower the vehicle and remove it from the lift.
