TRIP COMPUTER - Description

Description

The Trip Computer function is activated via the special switch located on the right lever of the steering column switch unit or directly on the instrument panel (depending on the version).

To manage the calculation and display of Trip Computer information (General Trip and Trip B), the instrument panel acquires the following signals from the B-CAN network:

• odometer signal;
• vehicle speed, with the relevant sensor fault signal;
• instantaneous fuel level, with the relevant sensor fault signal;

The Trip Computer information displayed on the instrument panel is in the following order:

General Trip:

• Range
• Journey distance
• Average consumption
• Instant consumptioin
• Average speed
• Journey time

Type B (partial):

• Journey distance B
• Average consumption B
• Average speed B
• Journey time B

To reset the trip recorder, press the 'reset' button on the steering column switch unit (or on the instrument panel, depending on the version).
