Operation 1076B40 · EXHAUST PIPES AND SILENCERS

Removing

- 1076B20 rear exhaust silencer - r + r

1. Undo the nut securing the flange joining the centre section of the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold.

2. Release the centre section of the exhaust pipe and remove it.

Removing

- 1076B20 rear exhaust silencer - r + r

1. Undo the nut fixing the flange joining the centre section of the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold.

2. Release the centre section of the exhaust pipe and remove it.

1.3 JTD 16v

Removing

- 1076B20 rear exhaust silencer - r + r

1. Undo the nut fixing the flange joining the centre section of the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold.

2. Release the centre section of the exhaust pipe and remove it.

Refitting

Fit the centre section of the exhaust pipe in place on the exhaust manifold and tighten the nut fixing the flange to the recommended torque.

1.2 8v

Refitting

Fit the centre exhaust pipe in the housing on the exhaust manifold and tighten the nut securing the flange to the recommended torque.

1.3 JTD 16v

Refitting

Fit the centre exhaust pipe in the housing on the exhaust manifold and tighten the nut securing the flange to the recommended torque.
