FUEL FLAP OPENING NOT WORKING

When the doors are opened using the remote control, the fuel filler flap is not released.

1	FUSE CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the condition of the protective fuse See E3045 BOOT AND FUEL FLAP OPENING	Move on to Step 2	Fuse blown	Replace the fuse (and find out what could have caused it to blow).
2	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Connect the diagnostic instrument and check for errors in the body computer node.	Move on to Step 3	Errors present	Continue as instructed by the diagnostic equipment
3	ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the electrical connection of the fuel flap opening pawl. See E3045 BOOT AND FUEL FLAP OPENING	Move on to Step 4	Electrical connector on boot lock incorrectly connected	Connect the electrical connector to the boot lock correctly See E3045 BOOT AND FUEL FLAP OPENING
4	ELECTRICAL SIGNAL CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Disconnect the fuel flap opening pawl electrical connector and check the signal controlling door opening/closure from the remote control is present.	Move on to Step 5	Opening control signal missing	Move on to Step 7
5	RELAY CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the lock motor control relay is operating correctly.	Move on to Step 6	Relay defective	Replace the defective relay.
6	CHECK FUEL FLAP LOCK GEARED MOTOR	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check that the fuel flap lock is working properly.	End of diagnosis	Fuel filler flap lock motor defective	Replace the fuel flap lock motor Op. 7025C40 FUEL FILLER FLAP CONTROL MOTOR - R+R AND CHECK LOCK SUPPLY LINE
7	ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the electrical connection between the Body Computer Node and the relay See E3045 BOOT AND FUEL FLAP OPENING	Move on to Step 8	Connections broken or not insulated	Restore the continuity/insulation of the electrical connection See E3045 BOOT AND FUEL FLAP OPENING
