TYRE WEAR

2.2 JTS, 3.2 JTS

1	CHECK TYRE WEAR	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the tyre wear status. More specifically: - wear on outer edge; - wear on inner edge; - wear on tyre shoulder; - tread wear	Move on to Step 4	Uniform wear on both sides: inflation pressure low	Make sure tyres are inflated to the correct pressure. If necessary, replace the tyres.
			Step wear on one side (outer or inner)	Move on to Step 2
			Wear on outer edge: exterior smooth	Move on to Step 2
			Tyre shoulder wear	The problem is due to the customer''s over-sporty driving style: If necessary, replace the tyres.
			Central tread wear: inflation pressure excessive	Make sure tyres are inflated to the correct pressure. If necessary, replace the tyres.
			Uniform wear on tread surface: compound quality	Replace the tyres.
			Tread wear.	Replace the tyres.
2	CHECK FRONT WHEEL GEOMETRY	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the front wheel geometry	Move on to Step 3	Front wheel geometry not correct	Restore correct geometry Op. 4450A10 FRONT WHEEL GEOMETRY - CHECK USING OPTICAL EQUIPMENT - INCLUDES ADJUSTMENT IF NECESSARY if necessary, replace the front tyres.
3	REAR WHEEL GEOMETRY	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the rear wheel geometry	Move on to Step 4	Rear wheel geometry not correct	Restore correct geometry Op. 4450A40 REAR WHEEL GEOMETRY - CHECK USING OPTICAL EQUIPMENT, INCLUDES ADJUSTMENT IF NECESSARY if necessary, replace the rear tyres.
4	SHOCK ABSORBER EFFICIENCY CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the efficiency of the shock absorbers.	End of diagnosis	Front shock absorbers inefficient.	Replace the shock absorbers Op. 4410A12 FRONT SUSPENSION DAMPER (ONE), LH OR RH - FOR MCPHERSON STRUT SYSTEM - INCLUDES DISMANTLING/REASSEMBLY OF ASSEMBLY AT BENCH - R.R If necessary, replace the front tyres.
	Check the efficiency of the shock absorbers.	End of diagnosis	Rear shock absorbers inefficient.	Replace the shock absorbers Op. 4420A12 REAR SUSPENSION DAMPER (ONE), LH OR RH - FOR MCPHERSON STRUT SYSTEM - INCLUDES DISMENTLING/REBUILDING OF ASSEMBLY AT BENCH R R If necessary, replace the rear tyres.
