BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH OPERATION CHECK
Connect to pins 1 and 3 using a multimeter and check that with the pedal released the contacts are closed and that, by pressing the switch, that the circuits switches from normally closed to normally open.
Connect the probes to pins 2 and 4 and check that with the pedal released the contacts are open and that, by pressing the switch, that the circuits switches from normally open to normally closed.
The brake switch has four pins.
Connect to pins 1 and 3 using a multimeter and check, by pressing the switch, that the circuits switches from normally closed to normally open.
Connect to pins 2 and 4 using a multimeter and check, by pressing the switch, that the circuits switches from normally open to normally closed.
