A01 Alarm does not turn on

When operating the alarm with the remote control:

  • the LED does not flash,
  • the doors do not open/close
  • the lights do not flash
  • the siren does not emit auditory signals

0PRELIMINARY CHECKS

NOTE: The activation of the auditory signals and flashing of the direction indicators depends on the various country modes.

First check:

  • charge of remote control battery incorporated in the key
  • key correct, i.e. remote control enabled
OK

Move onto step 1

Remote control battery run down
  • Replace the remote control battery

End of diagnosis

Key not correct
  • Connect the test equipment to the tester connection and carry out correct memorization of the remote control

1CHECK WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT

Connect the diagnostic equipment (Examiner or other instruments) to the diagnostic socket and check in order:

  • presence of faults in the CAN network
  • whether there are faults in the alarm system
OK

Move onto step 2

Presence of faults in the CAN network
  • Repair the connections on the interested nodes

End of diagnosis

An error is detected in the alarm system
  • Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment

2CORRECT OPERATION CHECK

Check that the fault is no longer present
