Removing

Position the vehicle on a lift.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Raise the car.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine oil pressure switch.

2. Undo and remove the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

Removing

Position the vehicle on a lift.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Raise the car.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine oil pressure switch.

2. Undo and remove the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

1.3 JTD 16v

Removing

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

2. Undo and remove the engine oil pressure warning light switch from the cylinder head.

Refitting

Tighten the oil pressure warning light switch to torque.

Connect the electrical connector for the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

Lower the vehicle.

Connect the battery negative terminal.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

Refitting

Tighten the oil pressure warning light switch to torque.

Connect the electrical connection for the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

Lower the vehicle.

Connect the battery negative terminal.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

1.3 JTD 16v

Refitting

1. Fit the engine oil pressure warning light switch in place and tighten it to the recommended torque.

2. Connect the electrical connection to the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

Connect the battery negative terminal.
