ALARM - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The alarm system is managed by the alarm control unit integrated in the Body Computer M1: it is supplied by the battery from the line for the maxifuse of B99 - pin 18 of connector F and by the line protected by fuse F39 - pin 17 of connector F; the ignition-controlled supply (INT) reaches pin 9.

The Body Computer M1 receives "door open" input signals at pin 8 (driver''s door), pin 25 (passenger door), pin 16 (left rear door) and 26 (right rear door) of connector D; these same signals switch on the timed lights.

See E2510 COURTESY LIGHTS

The bonnet is controlled by switch I10 which is connected to pin 24 of connector B of M1.

The boot opening switch located in the lock N47 sends an earth signal to the Body Computer M1 - pin 36 of connector E; the same signal is used to switch on the boot courtesy light.

See E2520 GLOVE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - SUN VISOR LIGHT

The siren P90 receives a power supply from the Body Computer M1, from pin 34 of connector B - line protected by fuse F39 of junction unit B2 and is connected through the dedicated serial line to pin 25 of connector B.

The modules for the volumetric and tilt sensors K60, K61 and K63 receive a power supply from the Body Computer M1 from pin 20 of connector D.

The modules for the volumetric sensors K60 and K61, connected to one another by a special serial line, send any alarm (earth) signal to pin 26 of connector E of M1.

The tilt module K63 sends any alarm (earth) signal to pin 16 of connector D of M1.

The button for excluding the volumetric and anti-tilt check function and the LED that comes on if the function is switched off are housed in the courtesy light G10.

Pressing the exclusion button sends an earth signal to pin 219 of connector D of M1.

The LED receives a power supply from the line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2 and is lit up by an earth signal from pin 27 of connector E of M1.

The deterrent LED E40 located in the driver''s front door is connected to pins 6 and 8 of connector C of M66 and from there, via the CAN, to the Body Computer M1.
