REVERSING LIGHTS - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The switch for the reversing lights I20 receives a supply controlled by the ignition (INT) from the fuse line F35 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.
When reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and sends a power supply to the reversing light in the right rear light cluster F31 (left rear light cluster F30 on right hand drive versions), directly via the junction unit B2 from pin 7 of connector D.
The activation signal for the reversing light is also sent to the Body Computer M1 - pin 3 of connector F - and from there to the steering column switch unit H5, for the automatic engagement of the rearscreen wiper.
