REAR FOG LAMPS NOT WORKING

The rear fog lamps are controlled and diagnosed directly by the Body Computer Node.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Connect the Examiner and check the following at the Body Computer Node: - that there are no errors; - the plausibility of the Rear Fog Lamps On/Off parameter.	Move on to Step 2	Presence of errors.	Proceed as instructed by the diagnostic tester
		Move on to Step 2	The fog lights on/off parameter does not change	Move on to Step 5
2	CHECK ON OPERATION OF REAR FOG LAMPS	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check that the rear fog lamps are working properly and check the operation of the wiring	Move on to Step 3	Lamp not working	Replace the rear fog lamp Op. 5540A50 BULB FOR REAR LIGHT CLUSTER (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - REPLACE
3	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Keeping the diagnostic equipment connected, check in active diagnosis that the rear fog lamps are working properly	Move on to Step 5	Rear fog lamps not working	Move on to Step 4
4	BODY COMPUTER CONNECTION CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check for deformed terminals or connections not present on the Body Computer	Move on to Step 6	Missing connections/pins bent	Renew the correct connections
5	REAR FOG LAMPS ON COMMAND CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check that the reversing switch is working properly	Move on to Step 6	Reversing light on/off button faulty	Replace the control panel Op. 7040A56 SWITCH UNIT IN DASHBOARD - R.R.
6	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	The fault persists	Replace Body Computer Op. 5505A32 BODY COMPUTER - R.R
