Assembly overview of covers and upholstery for seat

Cover

Removing:

–	Removing backrest → Chapter.

–	Detach clamping section -3- from seat rack -6-.

–	Unhook tensioning elastics.

–	Cut through clips -7-.

–	Remove cover from seat.

Installing:

  Note

When installing the cover, use upholstery clip pliers e.g. -V.A.G 1634-.

–	Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

q	Sewn to cover

q	With holes.

3 -	Clamping section

4 -	Connector for heating element

q	If present.

5 -	Seat foam padding

Removing:

–	Remove seat cover (Pos. 1).

–	Remove foam padding.

Installing:

–	Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

Seat rack

7 -

Clamp

q	When removing cut through with pliers

q	When installing, replace with new original parts.

q	To install use upholstery pliers, e.g. -V.A.G 1634-.

8 -	Heating element

q	If present.
