The seat will not go up or down when the lever is operated

NOTA: The mechanism only works when someone is sitting on the seat.

3	CHECKING GAS SPRINGS NOTE: faulty gas springs make the seat lift manoeuvre particularly difficult. Seat lowering is less affected. Check the gas spring for seat lifting. In particular, check its condition and that it is fixed correctly	OK	Move onto step 4
