Battery - recharge

Operation 5530B14 · Battery and leads

NOTE: Do not on any account carry out fast recharging. To recharge the battery correctly, use a battery charger recommended by the Service Outlets (e.g. ISEAT CB1): this is a 'constant voltage' battery charger with microprocessor, which recognizes the battery conditions and automatically determines the best recharging cycle; in this way a battery charge of close to 100% can be achieved.

NOTE: Always disconnect the battery negative terminal before recharging; while recharging, do not touch the battery terminals using your hands and do not bring naked flames close to the battery; operate the battery charger only after connecting the leads to the battery.

NOTE: If the measurement of the battery voltage without load is less than 12.10 V, recharging is not recommended and the battery should be replaced (5530B10 Battery - r+r ).
